1. Custom Product Return Policy

At Scyxoexorex, we take pride in creating high-quality, custom-made window treatments tailored to your specific requirements. Due to the custom nature of our products, our return policy differs from standard retail items.

Custom-Made Products

All window treatments manufactured by Scyxoexorex are custom-made to order based on your specifications. Because these items are created specifically for your windows and to your design preferences, they cannot be resold. Therefore:

  • Custom-made window treatments cannot be returned for a refund or exchange unless they are defective or damaged upon delivery.
  • Cancellations must be made within 48 hours of placing your order. After this time, your order enters production and cannot be canceled.

2. Inspection and Defects

We strongly recommend that you inspect all products immediately upon receipt to ensure they meet your specifications and are free from defects.

Manufacturing Defects

If your custom window treatment arrives with a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the product at no additional cost. To qualify for repair or replacement:

  • You must notify us within 10 days of receiving the product.
  • Provide clear photos of the defect along with your order number.
  • The defect must be a result of manufacturing and not due to improper installation or misuse.

Shipping Damage

If your product is damaged during shipping:

  • Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt.
  • Take photos of both the damaged packaging and product.
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

3. Measurement Errors

Professional Measurement Service

If you use our professional measurement service and your window treatments do not fit correctly, we will remeasure and replace the products at no cost to you.

Self-Measurement

If you choose to provide your own measurements:

  • You assume responsibility for the accuracy of those measurements.
  • Products that do not fit due to incorrect measurements provided by you are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
  • We offer a remade discount of 50% off the original price (excluding installation) for remake orders due to self-measurement errors.

4. Color and Material Variations

Natural variations in materials are inherent in our products:

  • Wood products may exhibit natural color variations, grain patterns, and minor imperfections.
  • Fabric colors may appear slightly different than shown on digital displays or in sample books due to variations in screen settings and dye lots.

These natural variations are not considered defects and are not grounds for returns or exchanges. We strongly recommend ordering material samples before placing your final order to ensure satisfaction with your selection.

5. Warranty Claims

All our custom window treatments come with a 5-year limited warranty that covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Mechanical failures under normal use
  • Excessive fading (beyond normal wear)

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to improper installation (unless installed by our professionals)
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from pets or children
  • Environmental damage (extreme humidity, salt air, etc.)

To make a warranty claim, please contact our customer service department with your original order number, photos of the issue, and a description of the problem.

6. Refund Process

In the rare event that a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment.
  • Processing time for refunds is typically 7-10 business days.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
